Guest guest
Hi Jayne, My name is Pat and I am G-ma to who is 4 yrs old. Welcome to the group! It would help if you could give us some more information about your daughter Lily. How much does she weigh?? How long is she?? What kind of problems are you having??? One of the most important things to watch for when our kids are young is nighttime hypoglycemia. Does your daughter sweat excessively at night?? Does she wake up lethargic or crabby?? These could be signs that her blood sugars are dropping at night. Many of our kids needs nighttime feedings for a longer period/older age than is considered the " norm " . Lots of people here have added cornstarch to their children's last bottle at night to help with this problem. Hopefully someone that does this will chime in. My g-son had a g-tube placed at 8.5 months of age, so we've never had to do this. Feel free to ask questions. It will help us know better how to help you. Once again, Welcome!! Hugs for you and yours!! Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 4 yrs old, G-Tube, GHT)
