Guest guest
Dear , I have been having dizzy and fainting episodes since early August. It has been determined, not confirmed at this point however, that I have a condition known as cardioneurogenic syncope. The cardiologist told me that she was seeing increased numbers of this in post operative gastric bypass patients as they approach several years being post op. I am currently 3 years post op and a very distal RNY. Peachy hugs,
Guest guest
Drops in blood pressure? (Postural hypotension) Beginning of episodes of low blood sugar? (hypoglycemia) Both these things I've seen in longer-term post ops before. Pam in Niceville Dizzy? I have had numerous dizzy spells recently and really can't think of a good reason why I am having them. I am eating plenty and am not dehydrated. I am a vitamin beast and take pretty much everything daily that I need to I think. Is there anything else that could cause this? Am I deficient on some vitamin or supplement that I am not thinking of? If I turn around really quickly, bend over and stand up fast or get up fast I get dizzy. Any ideas? Guest guest
, I have had the same problem almost from day one since surgery. I have found that when my iron gets too low I get dizzy. I supplement my iron almost daily. My iron levels were low even though I was taking my vitamins religiously. Are you cold a lot? Could also be low blood pressure. Just some suggestions as I am not a doctor. Good luck darlin! Dizzy? I have had numerous dizzy spells recently and really can't think of a good reason why I am having them.
