New poster here from South Jersey (exit 3). We are a unique bunch. I

remember when I moved here from North Carolina, I certainly experienced

" culture " shock for at least the first 3 years. Now, I wouldn't live any

where else.

My stats are that I am (new) 40-yo, 5'3-1/2 " , starting weight 276 and now

weighing in at 150 16 months post op. For over 14 months, I've been working

with a personal trainer 4-5x per week to firm everything up. Though the

weight loss has slowed to a crawl, I'm hoping to eek out another 10 lb loss

to finish up and begin the maintenance phase. It's been pretty intense and

I've learned some incredible lessons along the way.

Thanks for all your collective wisdom.

Hi . I am in Washington Twp (Gloucester County), NJ. Sounds like we

are really close. We have support group meetings every other Friday night at

the Bankbridge Regional School in Sewell, NJ. The next mtg is Feb 20. It is

open to everyone...pre-op, post-op, from any surgeon. We'd love to have

you....and anyone else that is reading this who would like to come.

Directions: Take Rt 295 South until it turns into Route 42. Take Rt 42 South to

exit 56B (Route 55). Go to first traffic light and make a left onto Bankbridge

Rd. The entrance to the schools is located on the left-hand side of the road

approx 1/4 mile down Bankbridge Rd (on left along the bend in the road).

Bear left, go into entrance with flag poles at front doors. Enter building,

make the first left down the hall and into the first room on your right.
