Hey Amy,

You're getting closer to my stage too. I am happy I'm done with the

expander. It was a pain to turn that thing everyday. I still have

numbness and I'm basically a month post-op. You'll still have

numbness even when the novacaine (sp?) is gone. The ends of your

nerves have to regenerate and that can take a couple of months or so.
