Guest guest
Hi sweet Chrissy. I almost jumped in my car today with the intent to give you some support - of course - a HUGE Hug. But, then I remembered that would not be a good idea because my children would want to come with (lol) and I had chili in the crock-pot. Honestly, I think you are doing such a great job - is there anything else to do? I'm sure you thought of everything Chrissy. Do you think she's cold because her iron stores are down? I get that way. And, I can have 6 blankets on me and nothing helps. Sometimes I put my hands under very warm running water - that helps. What about a warm bath? Remember those good ole water bottles that you would heat up for cramps? (I'm older than you - maybe you don't remember - LOL) - but, a heating pad might work too - you could place it under a blanket or two - have her lie on top of the blankets and put more on top of her. You have to make sure she doesn't get overheated! <grin>. Other than that Chrissy - again, you are doing the best you can. Seriously, if she's pale - I would have her iron checked and see what they plan to do about it. Is she able to sip anything from a straw - very slowly? What about sucking on candy to keep her used to having something in her mouth. I know - she's so young - it's a scary thought - but, just an idea. Thinking of you lot's. If you need to talk - you call me - okay? I will call you BACK! Any time. - H > > Madison was up all night throwing up, she had a low grade temp of 101 but > was shaking uncontrolably. she ke[t saying she was freezing.
