Yeah, this is true. And I think for some people this may be a " what comes

first chicken or egg " situation in that is it the brain " fumes " which stoke

certain emotional responses/biological drives thereby fueling the compulsion to

overeat, or is it the emotions which spark the brain fumes, which in turn act

as fuel to the compulsions. Stress has been proven to dramatically increase

the body's level of cortisol, a hormone which is connected to obesity (as well

as heart disease.) Vicious cycle: as you gain weight, particularly around

the abdomen, your cortisol levels increase and stay elevated, and the nasty

cycle continues and perpetuates itself.

I have no doubt that for some people it is very much a chemical thing, and

controlling the chemicals brings a peaceful coexistance with the emotional

(seeming) compulsions. For them, evening out the chemicals evens out the

" emotions " , in effecting helping to control the behavior.

The fact that I've been on Wellbutrin for a few months now, and that it has

helped enormously, says alot about the benefits of evening out the chemicals.

However, for me, there's a little bit more involved (unfortunately) than

that ... and frankly I shudder to think how COMPLETELY miserable I would be

right

now without the evening assistance of the Wellbutrin. Net-over-head-time

for Miss Lucille lie!

Which is all a blowhard interminable migraine-inducing way of saying: Trust

me, I'm a wack-a-doodle-doo! LMAO! But thanks for your " vote of

confidence " , . Along with stock in GasX, I suggest you buy stock in

the

manufacturer of Wellbutrin! LOL!
