First of all Hello, and thankyou all for supporting us. Everyone has

been so helpful in giving advice answering questions and everything.

iel's growth hormone stim test results came back early. The

highest level was 9.8. and that was his first blood draw, and it went

down from there. His Endo said this is borderline GHD. She said that it

is awful close to 10 which is considered normal to most insurance

companies. She said she would like to hold off on GHT and see him in

three months. She said what she remebers most about him is his high

pitched squeaky voice. She would like to see his growth between now and

then and look him over again. Like I said before he has curved in

pinkies and feeding problems, with the poor growth so she just wants to

be sure he is just GHD. I am surprised his level was even able to get

that high. It leaves me stumped as to why he is so short statured and

underweight(That is if it isn't RSS). At this point I can't wait to

talk to the geneticist to see what he thinks. Any advice is welcomed on

my part I'll be the first to admitt I don't know everything and am new

to all of this. It's good that others who have already been through

this are willing to help those of us just now experiencing it.

Anita,

I'm very glad that you posted this because you

answered one of my questions. had her stim

test done by Dr. H. Dr. Chen (Dr. H's assistant) told

us that insurance companies approve GH for levels at

10; Dr. H approves kids for GH at levels 7 or 8.

's level was a 6.6 or something like that. Now

I understand the level is measure how high they

produced. Got it.

is 6 years old and weighs 32.8 pounds and 40.5

inches. Dr. H has ordered that have the test

run again. She had it done in August 2005 and she is

scheduled to go again January 30, 2006.
