I live in Illinois and anyone can walk in and get treated. They cannot turn you away. The problem is ER visits for a colds because they cant afford a Dr visit . I owed thousands of dollars to the Mayo for my daughter. I paid monthly what I could as long as you pay something they leave you alone. I know we need an improvement .My daughter couldn't get insurance because of a preexisting condition, but we need to go after the right problems.I think we are one lucky country to have all the great places we have to get treatments.

you just reminded me about years ago, when i had a crummy plan

i took me a long time to pay it off, $10 or $25 per month, who remembers

you are right, as long as you pay something, they leave you alone

i found this out with the student loans too
