Guest guest
Cider is usually cloudy, just as homemade apple juice is cloudy. So I would guess that Langers cider isn’t entirely SCD-legal. Having said that, however, you are in the hospital, so probably can’t get either homemade apple juice or a better cider. I would dilute the Langers cider and hope for the best. When you are back home you can switch to a better cider or homemade apple juice. That is what I did when I was in the hospital after one of my surgeries just after I started SCD. I was so new to SCD (and ill, besides) so didn’t have my own foods ready for someone to bring me in the hospital. I was on a clear liquid diet regardless, so I didn’t really have any issues or digestive reactions from the slight amount of illegals in the apple juice I was given. When I got home again I buckled down and went back to fanatical adherence to SCD. Kim M.
