Hi Dennis,

The first week is the hardest but things do get better! I too began to question

why I went through with the surgery, I was so bad that I told one of the

specialist registrars how I felt and she showed me some pre surgery pics and

also got me a mirror so I could see how great I looked despite the swelling,

brusing, and tubes etc! I was too weak to walk to the bathroom and didn't get

to see how I looked until I was 7 days post-op. Then I remembered why I went

through with the surgery!

I slept with what seemed to be mountains of pillows as I couldn't get comfy in

a recliner chair.
