Guest guest
Yeah!!! I've been waiting for a post about Lorraine. I'm sorry that she gave Dr. Oh some surprises (at least I'm not the only one who surprised him , but it's good that she was in the hands of someone fully able to handle them. Even if her DH isn't mean with her about the breathing, those nurses will be. It felt like they were in there every 10 minutes making me breathe into that thingie (I never could get the needle up to the right line!), then sticking an air hose up my nose, and finally putting me on a CPAP or someone to force me to breathe. Who knew that I wasn't breathing right? lol. When Dr. Oh came in and told me I needed to breathe deeply, I told him that if he didn't make my TT so darn tight, I wouldn't be having so much trouble breathing! lol. It was actually the length of time under anesthesia that did it of course. Give her my love if you see her, or send it with her DH and have him give it to her. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! cross post--Lorraine Sorry for the crosspost, but I know she is active on these lists. FINALLY got the call that she is ok. Dr Oh is SOOOOOOO fussy. She was in surgery a long time. Apparently she saved a few lil challenges for Dr Oh. Wasn't that thoughtful? He enjoys a challenge. But not surprises. LOL! My understand is that her GB was trying to pass a stone? Stones? Yes, GB. No, she didn't know, except in her pre-op work-up, there was the bad GB. Surprise to her. But ok, so it's scheduled to go. I don't know much about them since mine was yanked so young and well, I just figure most of them are doomed, either from our obesity or the many wt losses and diets. OK, so they had to wait, do xray, wait, do xray, finally managed to flush it out and proceed. Big nuisance. So, she was in there way longer. I told her husband to SQUEEZE her lungs if she doesn't want to deep breathe. This is not optional. If I could get there, I'd do it myself. She is fine, but in typical Dr Oh style, is in ICU to have her own set of nursie eyeballs on her. Her husband left her with pain button in hand and actually managed to drive back to downtown Seattle in this mess. So, they are both doing well. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
