Guest guest
Hey there, Yes I had upper and lower jaw. Surgery went well. They finished in 3.5 hours and it was estimated to be 4-6. Everythings going great thus far. Except I had some dizzyness Thursday and nearly passed out in the shower. Had to postpone one of my post op OS appts til Friday. Anyway, went back to see the OS Friday and he is just ecstatic about my progress. I'm supposed to see him twice the first two weeks after surgery but he said he only needed to see me once next week! I go to see my OD Monday for xrays and stuff. My OS called my OD right after surgery and told him he couldn't wait for him to see me. It's quite amusing. Anyway, I'm completely wired shut until at least August 12. It's supposed to be 4-6 weeks but I start school August 18 in North Carolina and so he's taking them off probably at 3 weeks. My surgery was originally supposed to have been June 10th so I would've had everything behind me before I started school but alas, my teeth weren't where they needed to be. I'm having some issues with finding things to drink. Fruit pulp and seeds get stuck and block up the passageways between my teeth so I have to like brush alot. My OS said eating is an all day process. My swelling is probably down to where it may stay for a while. I'm going to try to get some pictures up soon. Anyway, I'll stop rambling on now. -- > Hay girl, > > Just wanted to let you know I had surgery on July 22nd also on my > lower jaw.
