Guest guest
Hi , My recovery is going really well. I posted a couple more pictures in my folder. My swelling is almost all gone. I still have numbness in my chin and nose and in my cheeks so I can't smile just yet. I went to visit my family over the weekend and they did not recognize me. They were totally shocked at the change in my appearance. Everyone was amazed at the difference. I've been eating pretty well- not losing anymore weight but just maintaining the 10 pounds that I lost. I think the part that's going to be hard to cleaning my mouth after I eat at work. That's why I'm sticking to liquids. I started eating scrambled eggs, diced ham, pancakes, french fries, egg salad but they just get all stuck in the splint and it takes forever to get it out. I have to wear my splint for 8 more weeks. How about you? I can not wait to get this out. My doctor said I have to wear it for a total of 12 weeks.
