Guest guest
, Now that you mention blood clots, I forgot all about those ugly stockings they made me wear that went all the way up to the hips during the surgery. I also had to wear those for 6 weeks after my knee surgery. After the jaw surgery, I had to wear them the entire time I was in the hospital. When they took them off my legs itched so bad! The fun memories of the surgery..(haha) I found it strange in the hospital because the nurse didn't get me out of bed until after 2pm the second day. With the risk of pneumonia you would of thought this would of been priority to get my buns up and walking..(haha) The first time I got out of bed was about 34 to 36 hours after surgery when I had no choice because they took the urine catheter out. I mainly slept the entire 34 hours. --Caboose > > > Hello all, I just wanted to post and let you all know I was > doing > > > better.
