Guest guest
, That's encouraging that week four was still a little tough for you. I was beginning to think I was slow. It will be 3 weeks for me on Monday. Guess I'm trying to rush things too much I feel fine, I just get tired easily. I guess considering the food situation I should expect that. I certainly get tired before I get full! I must be doing something right, because I've only lost 5 pounds. I was hoping to lose more, but they said no more than 10 pounds so I'm legal in their eyes. I have been working (at home) since July 20 - 2 days after surgery, so I really don't have time to think too much about the surgery. I never could have done it that soon going back to an office, but right at home, I do some of it while right in bed - thanks to the laptop. If I need to sleep, I do. I had my splint and bands on right out of surgery. Sorry to be so gross...but I remember throwing up blood and my teeth separated and when they went back together I bit the left side of my cheek. My cheek was stuck for about 3 hours until I threw up again. That wasn't pleasant! I wasn't able to remove my bands at all until July 21 and then it was for only 20 minutes at a time 4 times a day to eat. Then Monday 8/1(I called on my bloody nose) and she told me over the phone to try 1 hour 4 times a day. Then Thursday she noticed that my teeth were separating too much whileI was talking with the elastics on. She said that would cause too much damage to the metal plates so she told me take them off during the day. She doesn't want my teeth to separate at all when the bands are on. I actually have to double band them on each side to get them to stay closed. Do you know how many screws you had? I had sixteen and two plates. I get upset listening to my kids fight! I wants to send my kids to my parents alone (they only live 18 miles away) and stay home alone, but my mom won't let me stay home alone. Be real...I'm almost 36 years old and my mommy won't let me stay home alone. Oh well, probably a good thing Suppose, I need to work on some paperwork.
