Guest guest
Some of the worst water I have ever had was from a place you'd never expect it to be bad. British Columbia, CA. Their water is usually so good....we were on a camping trip..and stopped to fill our camper tank with some good Canadian water....in Lake, BC. Well...it tooks us a long long time to get our tank cleared of that green...stinking, vile water! I think it was straight from Lake itself! No treatment! It actually had algae floating in it. Stank to high heaven. Don't know how many flushings we had to do with bleach water to get the taste out of that tank... don't think we ever really did...but we learned a valuable lesson...don't ever trust the water in a strange place! The other horrible place was when I was a kid...living in Newport Beach, California. The water was brown and tasted like sulphur. Yech. Regards~ Jacque And we regularly get notices from the city not to give our water to infants and old people or anyone who has a compromised immune system. Too much arsnic and something else (forgot). In addition, we have so much sulfur in the water that it stinks like rotten eggs- who wants to drink that?
