Guest guest
At first, I thought olive oil was a nice lubricant for the lips, albeit one that dried quickly and needed to be reapplied often. I still had tape supporting my droopy lower lip, and didn't realize that the oil was dripping and settling under the tape. I gave myself a rash on my chin and under my lower lip, and now need special cream! Aargh! Now, I have bought Aquaphor by Eucerin in the skincare section of CVS, based on another patient's recommendation here on the site, and it works wonderfully. Just keep it gooped on all the time, and there is minimal peeling. While I hate using a petroleum product on my lips, I gotta admit: it works! So I'll keep using it, and advise others to do the same. a 1.75 oz. tube cost me $5.99, totally worth it for the relief it provides my lips. Damned rash! Just another wicked element to add to this swollen, droopy lipped face! Ah well, I wear it all like a badge of honor, and when I walk around outside and people look at me funny, I just feel proud because they have no idea what I've actually been through jen
