Guest guest
that seems pretty great to have a Dr to order tests you want. I was tested for lyme but band 41 only pos. how do they test for viruses? My stool test showed pos.-Kleb, candida, rhodotorula, blastocystis h., think thats all. and no L. acid. so tried more probiotics, cant do dairy. used to do poorly on A.B. , so tried grapseed extract and (dont know if SCD legal) cats claw, just had a feeling to try that . felt better after several days. Need to try again as brain is mushy again. Tell me how things worked out. Food allergy tests showed I was allergic to egg whites and kidney beans, but nothing else. A CDSA 2.0 (Genova) showed no growth for lactobacillus and positive for Citrobacter and Klebsiella pneumoniae. I took a course of doxy followed by a course of neomycin with a worsening of symptoms. Probiotic products and digestive enzymes didn't seem to help. > > In Nov. I started taking Culturella, a pro-biotic which immediately cleared up diarrhea/explosive bowels. I thought that would be the end of it but my digestion is still bad with lots of bloating(very uncomfortable), occasional undigested food in stools, and continued aversion to lots of foods. I'm almost always aware of my digestion now - food continues to feel like more of a burden on my body than a source of nourishment. > > My doctor is willing to order any tests that I request. Any ideas where to start? Has anyone had similiar symptoms from Citrobacter or Klebsiella pneu? (After the bad experience with the abx to treat those two bacterial overgrowths, my doctor gave up on me; referred me to a gastro. which I didn't pursue). > > Thanks again.
