Guest guest
Hi , I am nearly 4 weeks post op from top and bottom jaw, and I still got a bit of swelling around the cheeks and jaw. The doctor told me it can take upto 6 months for all the swelling to go. Apply heat, Read posting on how to apply. It works wonders to reduce swelling. Good luck > > Hi Everyone, > > I am 12 days post op and still have some swelling. What are some of > your experiences with swelling after surgery? Guest guest
Hi , I'm 3.5 weeks still with upper face swelling. I had upper jaw surgery 3 years ago and I do remember it took a llooonngg time to go down. I didn't even realize I was still swollen until I saw pictures of myself a few months past my surgery and my face made me look way younger than I am - maybe I should try and keep the swelling :-). Guest guest
, you are not the only one that freaks out, I do every morning as I seem to be a lot more swollen in the morning and have more difficulty talking because I am also more numb. 's heat technique is really working for me, that's why in the mornings I notice morethe swelling. Take care > > > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > > > I am 12 days post op and still have some swelling. I still have noticeable swelling, especially on my lower jaw(well I hope it's swelling ... I think it varies from person to person on how long it takes to go down...
