Guest guest
Hi , Isn't it interesting to remember the things you were and were not concerned about pre-surgery? Personally, I consider when you will be able to eat steak again important! I know what you mean about the loss of appetite and being happy about losing a few extra pounds. I think your body just get used to a decreased intake and your appetite adjusts to it. I'm glad you got to enjoy the suishi! It takes a while to get the mouth opening big enough to eat suishi again! I haven't even tried hard carrots yet. But my teeth are still tender from a lot of ortho work. But, my canted bite IS being fixed (huge sigh of relief) AND my ortho is seeing me a lot more often just like I hoped!! I just went yesterday and he wants to check everything in two weeks. Yea! (I sound like a sick-O! But at this point we are fine- tuning everything and if I have to wait a month between every tiny adjustment (because we are going so slowly and carefully with each adjustment) I will be in the braces for another 2 years... this way hopefully we get everything adjusted and in place much more quickly.... Anyway, I'm glad he sees it that way. I think he just wants to make sure we don't over adjust anything. Fortunately my teeth are cooperative. Wow! You've had braces 4 times!! I hope this fourth time is the charm for you. That would be wonderful if you get them off in November!!! You have to let me know! I am totally excited for you if you were to actually get them off that soon!! Keep in touch Sara and let me know how everything continues to heal for you! We will have to share a virtual steak together sometime... what is your favorite kind?? Mine is steak au poivre. Yum! (I'm making myself hungry!)
