X-ray of Colon does not look good

Hi Everyone,

Just let me say I am so thankful that all of you participate in this message

board, and at the same time sorry that you have to!

I just had an X-Ray today and it shows my colon is just totally inflamed,

completely filled up with junk, and has a slightly kinked loop in it. I have

been in pain for a long time, and know we know why! The last doctor I saw a few

months back perscribed " pain pills " and " muscle relaxers " for what he thought

had to be a muscle pain I was suffering from. And a couple years ago with all

this GI mess started I saw countless doctors and had countless tests done,

before getting frustrated and just imbarking on a gluten free/dairy free diet,

taking parasite cleanses, and doing internet research with led me to SCD 3.5

months ago.

I currently live way out in the country, as in I rent a 750 acre old homestead

and work in a town of 160 people. Our country " PA " is going to send the X-ray

off to an actual doctor for a professional opinion. His guess was colitis. I got

the feeling the PA had never seen a colon on x-ray that looked like mine before,

yikes!

If it is colitis and they perscribe antibiotics or drugs, what is your advice on

what I should take? I am nervous to take any antibiotics (stopped taking them

for things years ago). I currently don't have medical insurance which makes this

situation even more fun. Errr.

I just hope I can get better! It's another one of those nights, where I wake up

with excrutiating side pain in the wee hours of the morning, with nothing to

think about but the problems with my insides.

I know ultimately I just have to wait for the diagnosis, but I appreciate any

thoughts and input from others who have gone through a similar experience.

Thanks!

SCD 3.5 months
