Guest guest
Hi Gang I have never heard that B-12 Shots are not as affective as other means. In fact both my doctors and all others that I know who have had wls highly recommend the B-12 Shots for consistency and it seems most on our list do the shots too. I am 4 years out my self and have had the shots monthly from the start and do great with them. It is very inexpensive. The nurse taught me the first time and I do them myself. I have a prescription in a bottle for a year--cheap--around $5.00 or so, and a box of needles (inexpensive) from Walgreens that I am still using. So I don't think it even costs me $10.00 a year to do my own shots monthly. Compare $10.00 a year to all those other ways to get the B-12. Its a no-brainer to me! Do whatever your doc says but this is a general consensus of what most of us do here to maintain our B-12 Levels. Cheap and easy!
