Has anyone used tape or splints (hes too young for splints but she > wants to buddy tape his pinky) to straighten it? Does it work? Its tough when > you are the only one (including the specialists treating your child) with knowledge of this. > My daughter had splinting and taping done to straighten out her pinky and fourth finger on one of her hands starting when she was about 9 months old. She has incurving on both fingers, but was born with camptodactyly, in the last three fingers of one hand. Basically she was born making a fist, and her fingers needed to be stretched out. Oncly her pinky still remains a bit bent. This hasn't impeded any activity so far. But again, it wasn't splinted for incurving, it was stretched and straightened out from a clenched, bent in position. Pamela
