Guest guest
Hi , I have to say that I agree with Deb. If you can hold off putting Nicolas in school, I would. It's not so much his size that would make me wait, but the amount of germs that kids that age spread around. No matter how clean the facility, they can stop kids from putting toys in their mouths and then sharing. started preschool last January. It was the only way we could get therapies for him. And he was hospitalized 7 times, mostly due to germs he caught from the other kids. The fact that you have other activities planned for him will help with socialization. You could always invite other parents, with kids of a similar age, over to play. Friends have a tendency to cancel play dates if their kids are sick, so you wouldn't be exposing him to as many germs. This is just my opinion, and I do have a tendency to be protective of the kids, so take it for what it's worth.
