I don't have any advice for you, but just wanted to say YAY! for the progress

your son has/is making! I hope improvement continues for him.

Would you mind sharing the name of the group you mentioned for older children?

Our new daughter is 15 months old, and that sounds like a group that would be

helpful to us.

another scan (Starscan) and his measurements are now 6.9. For those that have

not heard my story, 's plagio was originally measured at 14.8 mm at 19

months, and we have been in the helmet for 2 months now. was 7 wks

premature and after a massive battle with idiot specialists we finally got our

prescription and helmet made for him by 20 months of age.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it. We have been doing PT for

torticollis, CST, and the helmet for as long as he will tolerate it now that he

knows how to take it off. These results are not typical and there is always the

chance the scan is off, but the orthotist we have is very confident that all the

scans we have had are " really good " . Even if they are off a little bit, any

decrease from our original measurements is a plus in my book.

I was originally thinking my poor son would be in his starband until he was

three because we would probably not get any results at all but now that we are

seeing some changes I am thinking about stopping it at 26 months (adj age would

be 24 months).

whenever he wants is making it hard for me to force it on him. I am pretty much

happy if he wears it when he is sleeping, in the car seat, and as much as he can

during the day. I suppose we are probably getting him a total of about 20 hours

a day instead of the 23.
