We have had great success with the scholarship brochures, garage sales and

church bake sales! Nothing big, but enough to pay for our trip including

transportation and food!

Thank you for the quick resopnse to my question regardign hotel info.

We will certainly look into the options to afford the trip. I was

pleased to read that Dr. Alter is going to attend. He was Raven's

endo. back in P.A.. I see some parents had skating parties to offset

the cost of the trip. Any suggestions would be most welcome. I don't

suppose I could convince you all to have the convention in Hawaii:)

Raven is coming to the age where she notices the difference between

herself and her classmates. Skin color does not matter to her, but

size is important. It would be great for her to see some other
