Here I thought I was sending all I was thinking and feeling and going

through has gone out to Amazon.com and posted for everyone to see. I

figure when I come and post right in the group list and not through

my e-mail.. using my user name and password and posting straight to

the Graduate-OSSG list that something like that won't be happening.

Surprise!

Did my info get posted somewhere else?

I didn't open any other files in that e-mail and I ran my Norton and

my pc seems safe and sound.

I just come to this list with personal thoughts and fears, or

questions... I didn't expect to see that it was posted on Amazon.com

or anywhere else but here... where you all can understand what we are

going through with this kind of life change.

ooOOooohhh and by the way... I am down 7.5 pounds with 12 pounds to

goal till goal. Now put that on Amazon.com!! LoL!! Ooohhh nooo..

wait till I've lost it all!!! lolol

Remember how a worm works. It steals " 's " address book and sends

itself from all his addies TO all his addies. So, if he had an

amazon.com email addy, and the worm got in, it is sending things FROM

that addy, as well at TO that addy. And then it makes varieties. And

anyone (in that list) who is protected is not getting your post. No,

only the worm attempt.

You would not believe how many try to get in from vitalady.com.

Scuse me? We got firewalls, Norton galore, updated nightly.

MATT@...? WHO? STAN? ANDREW? WHO??? I rarely use names here,

just posts, so they are not even legit names, but they wander into

vitalady@...

I don't know how they work, but I know that first day (24 hours) I

got well over 1000. Norton screens popping up til I figured how to

shut them off.

It's nothing personal.

Tink, first of all, congrats on the 7.5 pounds!

Many of us are getting that Amazon.com mail, and I'm sure our posts

are not being posted on their website. Maybe it has something to do

with Yahoo, I don't know. But, I'm guessing that someone, somewhere

has a virus that's somehow tapped into this list, and it generates

automatic replies to our emails. Just run your virus scan

periodically, and this, too, shall pass.
