Guest guest
I apologize everyone, for not writing much, and not reading much at all. I am so overwhelmed on a personal front, and every spare moment is going into finishing the Guidebook. For those of you experiencing adrenarche, I have great news that the first year of Arimidex, the aromitase inhibitor, has successfully slowed down 's previously rapidly advancing bone age. As background, her prior delay of about 10 months disappeared quickly within 18 months, and at her Jan appt last year, her chronological age (CA) was 9.0 and her bone age was OLDER 9.6!!!! That being said, her height had gotten so well on GH that studies show that her bone age SHOULD be closer to her CA, but clearly NOT being older than her CA. Friday, her bone age showed her CA at 10.0 and her bone age at 10.13. This means that her bone age only advanced 7 months while her CA advanced the entire 12 months. This was great news for us, and we will now continue to use the Arimidex.
