Guest guest
Basically i had my consultation today with an orthodontist. It looks like a 2 yr long road with a major surgery right smack in the middle. Basically i need to get my serious underbite fixed by cutting the bone out and moving the jaw back (i believe) and widening my maxilla's arch. along with braces of course. im curious which insurance plans you guys have and know of any that will cover such procedures? i heard kaiser permanente has but im unable to see exactly in their guidelines pertaining to orthognathic surgery. 10-15k is a lot of money heh and the surgery wouldnt be till a year from now so i think i should get my foot in the door because maybe there is a 1 yr time cycle before they will cover extreme surgeries. any help would be appreciated =] -glenn m.
