Guest guest
Thuffering Thuccotash! You're going to have a thplint? I didn't have one, but my friend did, and thayth that you might have a lithp. I talked right after surgery, but according to my husband, it was only mumbling. I tried to minimize talking, as it made my facial muscles pretty sore. Even after 5 weeks off work, when I went back, I tried not to talk much. When I did, and my muscles started getting tired and sore, I felt that I was slurring my words. Anything that prevents you from putting your tongue to the top of your mouth (removeable retainers too) will probably give you a lisp. At least it's only temporary. ZNS are useful, but I found that a syringe worked best for me, for liquid intake. I used the ZNS with my prescription mouthwash to rinse my mouth out. > > > I will be having lower jaw surgery beginning of 06 and > i have a few questions for all the post op patients.
