Tony,

I'm 4 months post-op and tend to swell after a heavy night of

drinking. I used to even before the surgery. Alcohol has that kind of

effect. I don't think it's the red bull but rather the alcohol. Try

to drink a little less and make sure you drink a lot of water before

going to bed to flush out the alcohol out of your system. Also make

sure you don't overdo it on the arnica as that can have the opposite

effect and increase the swelling. I wouldn't worry too much though.

It's probably just normal swelling as a result of a heavy night of

partying. The alcohol constricts your blood vessels, hence the

swelling. Your body will recover as long as you don't keep on

chugging them vodka red bulls:-)
