Just got a letter from my local rheumy saying that he wants to start the Imuran.

The special rheumy in Boston said he wanted to get me off the prednisone and try

imuran. He says he wants the local pulmodude, local rheumy, boston pulmodude and

himself all work together. If the Imuran doesn't work out then he says the next

step is to try celcept.

He says that they all need to have a team approach to treating me. He says there

are meds that will treat both the PF and rheumatiod. I like that idea. I get

concerned about taking so many meds. So, keep good thoughts for me please.

Nan

good luck with the imuran

i am on cellcept and it is working -- i also take a low dose of prednisone

jerry was on prednisone for his crohns (about 20-30 years), last year his GI doc was able to replace it with imuran, he has been off of prednisone at least a year, the weaning process took many months
