Guest guest
I remember kids yelling,"bug spray man! Bug spray man!" All the neighborhood kids would jump in the fog and follow the truck down the street! My mom and dad did ceramics, refinished furniture, and mom painted with oils. I've taught in old musty buildings and used chalk forever. I could go on and on. I've been wishing a show like 60 Minutes would do a story on our " unknown" disease and people would be aware of the things exposed to possibly leading to PF. It won't help us, but future generations might not have that blind-sided feeling of this diagnosis. One can hope!Elisa Sjogren's Raynauds NSIP Apr. Guest guest
Elisa, Interestingly, I also taught in musty old buildings, used chalk and am a potter too. When all the hypersensitivity blood work came back negative I was shocked. None of that had anything to do with my Dx of NSIP. In fact I was given the "go-ahead "to continue with the clay. I've always worn gloves for the glazing but I just use a filter mask when I'm sanding down a dried pot. Z fibriotic NSIP/05 Z 65, fibriotic NSIP/05/PA And “mild†PH/10/07 No, NSIP was not self-inflicted…I never smoked!
