Guest guest
I'm sorry but I strongly disagree. I have 2 children, work, and homeschool. I don't have as much time to read as I would like. So by the time I get to read I start at the most recent post and hope all comments are there so I don't have to read through all the posts. It takes too much time. So I appreciate when people leave the whole post. Just another take on it. :-)UC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-) everyone, please trim your posts!, it's not necessary to post the entire thread every time you make a comment or reply, and it's a huge waste of space, and everyone's time also.I enjoy reading the list and everyone's comments, recipies, and such, but as a long-time scd'er and list member I remember how it used to be when folks had enough sense to trim all the stuff that's already been posted many times. after 12 yrs of scd and 35+yrs of chron's I think I probably have a few good pointers at least, and I enjoy helping others "get it right" on scd but it's almost to the point where I will unsubscribe because of all the long threads being reposted for every comment.please trim your posts!Steve
Guest guest
I agree with ... If you trim down too much it is easy to loose track of who is reply to whom about what.. It is easier to glance down and have a reminder of what that line of talk was all about.. I start at the oldest post and work my way up.. It is easier for me to to follow the flow :-) To: "BTVC-SCD " <BTVC-SCD >Sent: Fri, August 27, 2010 9:47:54 PMSubject: Re: please trim your posts! (disagree) I'm sorry but I strongly disagree. Guest guest
As usual I'm in the middle. I, too, don't have time to wade through the long threads and sometimes get really impatient w/ the long posts. If I need the bkgd I'd prefer to go directly to the yahoo group and check it out. Trailing them all on (which I must admit that I sometimes inadverently do!) seems rather inconsiderate of the rest of us. I'm endeavoring to " Reply to Post " highlighting and cutting everything but the msg. I'm replying to. I appreciate as much brevete as possible. 'Course, sometimes it's NOT possible. Different strokes for different folks? Artful Carol > > I agree with ... If you trim down too much it is easy to loose track of who is reply to whom about what..
