Splint off! (Last post for a while)

I got my splint off this morning at the orthodontist's. What a relief!

They weren't going to take the surgical hooks off, but I whined and so

they did. I can't tell you how much better it feels not having so much

junk in my mouth.

They gave me the splint to take to my surgeon at my Aug. 23

appointment. I will take a picture of it to share with those of you

who are curious. Incidentally, the assistant said it was the cleanest

splint she's ever seen. I was freaked about food getting stuck in it,

so I rinsed like crazy for the past three weeks.

This will be my last post for a while; I'm taking August off from the

Internet. At home, anyway. August in Montana is too precious to spend

it on the computer. But I will post that picture sooner or later, and

I'll check in if anything big happens.

Congratulations, Luna!! Enjoy internet-free August =)

I'm getting molds at my next OD appointment August 30, so will have a better

idea (I hope) of my surgery date!
