Hi,

My daughter is 10 and facing surgery in her late teens. I had asked the

Invisalign question as well and was told by the orthodontist that Invasalign is

ONLY for cases where minor teeth changes are needed, clearly not in my

daughter's case. My guess is that most people needing Orthognathic surgery

would

not be candidates for Invisalign based on what my orthodontist said.

Maybe you can get clear bands on your teeth instead of a whole mouth of

metal. My girlfriend who is 44 just got those.
