How do you know when early adrenarche begins?

I am sure bloodwork is the best way to know this, but I was just

wondering.... My son is 6 and I just noticed his arm pits stink! Is

this normal for a 6 year old? We are due for bloodwork, so I am sure

that will tell me more, but I am just curious on what people may know

about this. I think it's strange for a 6 year old to smell of B.O.
