Guest guest
This is probably a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping there will be someone who knows something about this. It seems to be more rare, that Dasia's head is also below the 3rd% along with height and weight. She was diagnosed RSS without hesitation, having low tone, assymetry, short turned in pinkys, blue sclera, and cafe au lait spots. And I was reading a Magic article that says if HC is less than 10% at birth and again at 9 months, risk is greatest for significant impairments. Then, in another article, a point was made, HC significantly improved while on GH, raising the question on effect for intelligence. It was found that the greater the change in HC was tied to the younger the age at which they started GH. So, if in fact, the Endo thinks this a good reason to start earlier, what are the risks if Dasia started GH at a sooner time, rather than waiting for a certain weight gain or height plateau? I'll be asking her Endo all of the same questions in Jan, I just want to be prepared and learn as much as I can before I go. And hoping between your experiences, and this Endo, the right decision can be made. Any knowledge anyone has about this would be greatly appreciated!
