Guest guest
Elisa, When we were kids in the early 70's we could not wait for the bug spray truck to come down the road every year. We use to follow it on our bikes for blocks in the cloud of smoke. Which I guess now was pestiside for Misquito's and Gypse moths. When I think of all the things I used to do that may have caused me harm, I get scared. We used to chase mosquito trucks in the Mississippi delta and run through the cloud of DDT (I suppose), and Dad's hobby of fixing old AM tube radios meant that we had mercury to play with. And we did. And who would have thought that hot wax would have harmed you. You know, I have actually thought of candle-making as something to do after my PF diagnosis. Doesn't sound like a good idea, from your experience. Hope you don't give up painting. > > Jerry/Mississippi/ 54/IPF/dx April 05 > > Who believes that hard times help us appreciate the good times even more. >
Guest guest
When I think of all the possible causes for PF that I may have been exposed to, it would truly be amazing if I hadn't come down with PF. Yes dave and Elisa and , I was after that mosquito truck like a country dog after a loud car. Other than the snow cone truck, it was really something to look forward to. Guest guest
As kids we wallowed in stuff nobody knew was bad for us, I used to play with fiberglass insulation for heavens sake. As a young adult I lived right next door to a cotton filed that was sprayed with defoliant (very agent orangeish stuff) every October. Many of you from the south I'm sure never even thought of it except it smelled. Hell cigarettes were probably GOOD for us considering LOLDyane, 54, Phoenix, IIP 02 now NSIP 09, Breast Cancer, Psoriasis, Lipodermatosclerosis, Diabetes, and now a RA like autoimmune component, yadda yadda yadda."Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving is a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, chocolate in one hand, Margaritas in the other, loudly proclaiming "Holy **** What a ride!"."> > > > I did the same thing Jerry.........DDT was fun to play in> > > > > > > > Soulliere & nbsp; > > > > > > From: Jerry Brown jerryb888@> > To: Breathe-Support > > Sent: Fri, December 11, 2009 6:40:33 PM> > Subject: Re: Re: Popcorn Lung> > > > > > If we could only live our lives with hindsight.
