Guest guest
Here's another interesting article...http://www.truthaboutabs.com/saturated-fat-is-not-evil.htmlUC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-) They now say saturated fat does not raise your LDL. The following article tells about a study that actually showed that it lowered LDL. http://tierneylab.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/21/good-news-on-saturated-fat/ Holly Crohn's SCD 12/01/08 > > > Prednisone raises cholesterol. Saturated fat raises both LDL and HDL. > Carbs raise VLDL. VLDL equals triglycerides divided by 5. And total > cholesterol equals HDL plus LDL plus VLDL. So you can see the effect > foods and medicine can have. Ron >
Guest guest
Marilyn, First Marilyn, I really appreciated the posting of your speech. Great information. So glad to have you around, thanks for starting this group. You mentioned a few days ago that (if I understood correctly) it is not meat that raises tthe cholesterol, but carbs. Could you elaborate on that?
