Guest guest
I have the same symptoms minus the tongue numbness and am still getting the symptoms but not as often. I stopped eating all grains July 25 after having diarrhea from the beginning of June and slowly cutting one thing after another out of my diet. I assumed I had small intestine bacterial overgrowth again (had it two years ago) and wanted to try a more natural way to get rid of it than antibiotics. Someone had borrowed my BTVC book but I remembered no grains and the only grain I was eating at the time was various forms of rice. The D stopped IMMEDIATELY!! Like magic! Two days later the shaking started. It lasted a little less than a week externally but I still get it internally at times - especially early morning, will wake me up at 7 am sometimes. It did come back a bit worse when I started the Sacro-B two weeks ago and has since subsided most days. Yes - I am hypoglycemic but have not tested my blood sugar levels so it is possible my symptoms are from something else but eating helps so I've been treating it as hypo. The whole shaking/feeling faint/can't concentrate... before bowel activity started 3 years ago and the only time it went away completely was when I was on Xifaxan for SIBO. Re: Update: Shaky, Tongue Numbness, etc. DIE OFF? or what??? So Janine, How long have you been doing the diet? And are you still having the same issues? Or have they passed? I know you said you attributed the same problems as my husband is having, to die off... So looking back, is that what you think it was? Or are you still experiencing those things? Do you have hypoglycemia as well? Or are you just saying that it was " like " hypoglycemia, but different (see my other response on my husband's blood sugar numbers today). Thank you for your reply!!! =) We're doing our best to figure all of this stuff out! =)
