Guest guest
Hi Annie, Congrats on your recent marriage. Sorry to hear of your recent problems. I am surprised when you say you got your retainer " off " . I thought most of us would wear one " forever " so to speak. I can appreciate your concerns, it seems that those of us (me included) with the open bites have the hardest time with retention of the corrected bite. I am due to get my braces off next week, and am more scared then happy. My bite is as good as it is going to get right now, but I fear with my worn down joints and the strong jaw and tongue muscles, that it will open right back up. Keep us posted on your progress. a > Maybe some of you still remember me? I had upper jaw surgery to > correct an open bite and got my retainer off in April this year. Guest guest
Do you mean by retainers off that you don't have to wear them at all? It's been a few years since I got my braces off and I still wear my retainers. :/ Nothing moved aside from some minor settling (a good thing because of the kind I have) and everything is solid. I think I had the same thing you had done. I hope your bite is fixable with something easy and that it does not get worse. Mia > > > Maybe some of you still remember me?
