Guest guest
I saw my surgeon today. He said things looked good, and I could go to wearing the elastics just at night. I had upper leforte I 5 days ago. He mentioned the next time I see him, in a week he will do some occlusal equilibration to help modify my bite. Occlusal equilibration involves grinding some of my teeth down basically. Right now my teeth on the right side hit before the left side. Since I had an open bite, these teeth probably haven't touched in a long time, until the surgeon moved my upper jaw. Is this pretty common after orthognathic surgery? Guest guest
I have had this done more than once. This procedure was done before I was willing to have surgery to get some of the tension out of my bite. Doen't hurt at all and it did help. Unfortunately not an option anymore. You won't be able to see a difference in appearance. > I saw my surgeon today. He said things looked good, and I could go to wearing the > elastics just at night. I had upper leforte I 5 days ago.
