Hi Jan and the rest. I'm still here as usual - pluggin along. I always get a flu shot and I believe it has helped me. I did happen to get real sick at the same time this year though but I don't think it was from the shot. Any thoughts on soy milk?

My prayers are with you Diane.

Hello and welcome to all the new members.

Dennis from NH

That's why I am dz, there were always other daves, but

our other one dropped off. Yes, wicked isn't all bad.

I have been using soy milk, and it seems to help me.

My stomach is especially sensitive at breakfast and I

think I had trouble digesting milk. The soy milk is a

little more expensive, but I like it better too.

HI Raf

I made it through 2 years of treatment. I didn't miss much work but felt like crap most of the time. You get used to feeling like crap. I usually had 1 good day out of 3 (the day before the next shot). I was a partial responder and my count came back up after I went off treatment. Now I just take milk thistle and some other natural plant meds. I come home from work in the afternoon sometimes because I am so tired I can't do anything.

It's a long road and the most important thing is to keep your spirits up. We'll help you with that.

[ ] Questions

Hallo Everybody,

Can I ask a few questions?

Yesterday there was a Hepatitis C Day in Belgium, so I found some articles in the newspapers.

So in some intervieuws people told that when you are in treatment it is impossible to work, that you feel too sick.

Others tell that your hair is falling out.

Is this true ? or is this depending from person to person ?

Greetings

Raf

Hi Deb

Glad to have you as a member of the group. Stick around long enough and

you'll find a great bunch of people here.

Hi Raf

Although treatment can make you feel bad. I been able to work full-time during both rounds of my treatment. Most of the side effects become more tolerable with time.
