what to do about the pain in the shoulders

after surgery. i had a lap surgery and

not doing to bad but i have pain in the

shoulder area ---- is this normal ??? and

what should i do about it ???

NK,

If you are newly post-op, it is not uncommon to have pain in the

shoulders, especially from some of the gas that they use to pump you

up in lap surgery still present in that area. It should pass. You

might consider taking some Tylenol to ease the pain.

(P.S. But, this is a " Graduate " list, for 1+ year post-ops, so maybe

this was not the issue, or maybe you were writing about a surgery in

addition to WLS.)

Isn't that gas? If so, I think just walking is the best cure.
