Guest guest
> > Marisa, > Do you apply the coconut oil/oil of oregano mixture topically to your skin, or did you swallow it? Also, is the CLO applied to the skin to help acne or just by swallowing it daily it will help acne? > +++Hi Donna. You apply the mixture topically to the skin. You wouldn't want to take it internally yet, until you are able to take 6 tbsp. of coconut oil, otherwise you can get more die-off symptoms. CLO can be applied to the skin, but it is also one of the most important supplements to take internally. It takes time for your skin to respond to this program, so direct treatments may not help much, since it is all of the nutrients on this program that heals the body (diet plus all supplements), and that takes time and patience. It take 1 month for every year you've been unhealthy, so if you've had acne for say 5 years, it will take 5 months of natural healing to heal it. The timing starts once you are completely on the diet and taking all of the supplements since all nutrients work together. All the best, Bee

May I please ask you to wait until your messages are answered? I am usually up at 5:00 AM and on the computer long enough by Noon (Eastern Standard Time) that I must get off of it. So questions asked after that time are answered the following morning. Bee
Guest guest
Dearest Marisa, How do you apply the coco and oregano oil mix--do you leave it on--leave it on for a while then rinse off? My oregano oil should be arriving in a couple of days as I have ordered it from bio alternatives. Thank you.

Is that Phyllis? Well I put it on clear face (I usually clear my face with coconut oil and plenty of water - avoid soaps) and then I just leave it on. I do not rinse it off. I repeat that 2-3 times / day. Do not use that mix in areas where you don't have breakouts, cause I noticed that it is a little bit dehydrating. I've also noticed that oil of oregano is making the difference so I've increased it.... So it is like 80% oil of oregano - 20% coconut oil on breakouts, and 100% coconut oil for the rest of my face. Hope it will work for you. Bee suggests that cod liver oil is better. You can try both of them and see what is working best for you. I've been literally saved with oil of oregano. But everyone is different. Drink plenty of water so that you can help toxins get out of you (and not choose your face to do that)....Also try dry skin brushing. it will help your body detox so that means less breakouts. And epsom salt baths of course!!! Marisa
Guest guest
> > Hi. My name is Phyllis. I am a 37 year old married mother of 3--all boys ages 12 and 1/2 and 11 year old twins. I have candida-no doubt. My mainstream doctors won't give in but 2 different alternative doctors who cost way too much money know better. I'd make any one rich if I could but I don't want to put my family in the poor house. I want to get better. You are my last hope before accutane which would be prescribed by the same derma who helped poison me with antibiotics throughout the last ten years. then there were antibiotics for sore throats and H.pylori 7 years ago they had me on an antibiotic after my twins were born because my water didn't break properly--iv'd it right in. I not only have problems with acne but I am depressed, heart palpitations, yeast infections right b4 period, ringing in easrs, low sex drive, you get the picture. I am new to this group but I have been studying this website on and off for about 2 months. I've incorporated coconut oil into my diet and over the last 2 months I've lost 10 lbs. which is ok because I had about 25 to lose. The weight loss has also been from cutting out sugar and I look forward to following this program although there are parts that seem a little overwhelming but I'm willing to do what needs to be done. So much more to say for now I'll stop. Thank you Hi Phyllis OK, Help is on the way and of course she has been there all along. You see her when you look in the mirror. As a former son of a mother who had health issues allow me to wish you luck and follow Bee's diet and all will be well. I would pass on all invitations to visit doctors because if they knew how to make us well their patients wouldn't be dying. I have had the ringing, ( more like a whistle)in my left ear for many years and it is going away and my hearing has improved as well. Make strength in knowing that your body will heal itself if fed properly. It is difficult at first as the cravings for bad food are strong but it can and is done. Good Health. I don't have any allergies to any foods. My minerals were thrown out of balance from all the mercury & arsenic. The supplements alone have helped me out tremendously. Do you think a person could heal doing the supplements and part of the diet? Without cutting out carbs? I eat very little carbs but I know you recommend cutting them out all together for your body to heal. Carbs are all foods that aren't classified as protein and fats, which includes grains, nuts, seeds, fruits, herbs, spices, sugars, vegetables, etc. so I don't recommend cutting out all carbs. My diet includes many vegetables, spices, herbs, etc. that are also carbs. If a person is not healthy they will be able to heal their bodies naturally by following my diet completely and by taking all of the supplements. Maybe it is easier to list the carbs you are still consuming, which aren't on my diet. Bee

Guest guest
Firstly, your are doing one of the hardest jobs in the world, a child that displays challenging behaviour can be very draining, to cope with this and keep your family going is A LOT. Probably not going to say anything that you haven't heard before, but this worked for us. My son has Aspergers, thankfully his behaviour has improved as we have been consistant in the way we respond. When he was younger he would throw tantrums no matter where we were or what we were doing we responded the same, if he couldn't hurt himself or others we let him get on with it. We didn't give in. If his behaviour was bad he was warned and the next time he was given a time out. Always consistant, trying never to shout or show frustration. We did have to pay attention to when it was a tantrum and when he simply couldn't cope with what was happening around him, at times like this the best thing to do was take him somewhere quiet and give him some space, in the house we would let him go to his room and do what ever he wanted. For us it was HARD to start with, but we persevered, it did take months and when he is with us he behaves really well, if we are out we have a kind of sign language so he knows if he is doing something he needs to stop or tone down. In saying this my son is 6, your daughter is 12 and if her behaviour has recently changed it could be those hormones kicking in, which I have no experience of.....yet. lol Hope some of this is helpful. Guest guest
Let me first say that I feel for you! This didnt come with an instruction book and the things that work for some doesnt for others and it can be frustrating and life altering, and god knows we all wonder how we do it sometimes. As far as medication goes we were hesitant on it as well... and there were years that we swore it was the meds that made him who he was.. but thankfully we found the right mix and we are off the roller coaster. I dont have any answers as how to change her behavior and my son does the same thing.. he gets fixated on something and will at times make you nuts until you just explode.. then he 'gets it' that it is not okay to do that. Hormones could come into play with her.. my son is 14 and we are seeing alot of that. It is sometimes hard to distinguish AS or teenager. Patience and persistance seems to be the best way to change any behavior for any child (AS or not) and that is what we practice in here.. Are you open to maybe aroma therapy or something like that? Her judgement and focus are more than likely clouded without and meds to help her get through something like that.. I have lavender all over my house. I have also been looking into getting DJ a grounding stone.. maybe turning to some minerals instead... Like I said I dont have the answers to fix your problem.. but I am sending you a HUGE hug!! It is hard and I too have been down the road of marital problems that we feel has stemmed from the difficulties of raising a child with AS. Please feel free to email me anytime.. we may not be able to fix.. but we can lean! ( ) help! Guest guest
Thanks, Janice. My kids have a friend who is similar when she's off her meds. She gets very annoying to other kids and when they ask her to stop she can't seem to grasp that increasing the intensity of her behavior won't make it funnier to them. If she's on her meds and does something annoying I can say, " you have a choice, you can keep doing what you're doing because you feel it is that important but you'll have to understand Rayleigh will not want to play with you, OR you can stop what you're doing and Rayleigh will want to play again. " and she can make the choice that will keep Rayleigh playing because that really is what she wants. I babysat her full-time for a few months once and I could tell very quickly when she'd had her meds and when she didn't take them. 's neurologist suggested Tenex to get him to stop chewing everything in sight and I've heard of it being used for ADHD as well. I'm thinking we might try that one. Guest guest
Hi Miriam, My son takes 10 mg of ritalin right when he wakes up and then a 15 mg (we cut a 30 mg in half) patch of Daytrana. He has been on every ADHD med there is except the newer Vyvanese and this was the only thing that helps him at all. To be honest it helps more with hyperactivity, his attention is still not 100%...but it helped more than the others. I like that it can be controlled, by removing it, then on the other hand I have to remember to remove it on weekends when it goes on later and can affect sleep. Good luck! Far as I'm concerned, initially if the puter is slowing down, it's beginning to want to be shut down and back on. Can you tell, I never turn them right off either. Eventually, I will realize that the reason puter seems to get slower and slower, is probably because it's time to either beef up some hardware or what sometimes has happened - my hard drive is getting tired. My son and the computer tech that I use because my son doesn't live in town - think I should be given an award, for keeping one of the oldest hard drives they'd seen in many years running. LOL It was sooo old that they couldn't even get specs on it. LOL However, I used to use at least 2 separate hard drives in my puters. The only reason that I don't now is a) because my motherboard won't support it without disabling the DVD drive and hard drives are so humongous now.Gloria Hi It sounds like one of 3 things. Guest guest
Kim, It sounds to me like you are not dying but are having a bad die-off. I always feel like I am dying when I am on the verge of a breakthrough re: candida going away and healthy body taking over. It feels so seriously like dying that most of the time in the past I ate food to feed the candida because I felt like it was an absolute necessity, that my body couldn't survive without the " cheating " food. Lately I am good at telling myself that I am not dying, that the candida is dying, and that it will feel like hell but there is light on the other side where I will feel better than ever. And in fact it always turns out that way. Cheating will always only prolong the agony. Some people may have recommendations to ease the discomfort -- I can only suggest bentonite clay, to absorb toxins from the gut, and maybe psyllium seed fiber for the same purpose. I also would take a look at Duncan Crow's inulin and whey pages. And in my amateur opinion, two weeks isn't long enough to be on diflucan. I don't know what is long enough.  However, if you cheat, it will not work, no matter how long you're on it. There are so many kinds of anti-fungals, some kill some strains of candida and some kill others. I am skeptical that a family practitioner has the knowledge to address this problem adequately. One thing I do know: be sure you are taking four strains of bifido bacteria. Duncan says three are enough, but I've tried both three and four strains and four made a big difference. Hot baths or saunas help to get rid of toxins also. Dump some baking soda and epsom salts in the bath also. At least it helps me. I've been sick for 16 years but am finally seeing big improvements. I know what it's like to have a chronic illness for a long time. It sucks. I don't suppose you could get a week off work to just lie around and feel like crap. There's definitely a cleansing or healing crisis period that you just have to go through. You can't get around it. I thought it was extreme allergies but finally made the connection to yeast 2 months ago. The family practitioner put me on diflucan for 2 weeks. I felt awesome the first week but then started going down hill from there. I have been doing a low carb diet but have cheated a couple times. The only thing that helped my symptoms was Tramadol which is a prescription pain med. The family Dr. wants me to wean off that. I am now taking 1 a day and am miserable. I can't breath, headache, body aches, extreme fatigue and extreme weakness. The Tramadol helps with this enough so that I can make it through my work day. Without it I am calling in sick twice a week and working extremely ill the other 3 days. I'm sure I will be out of work soon if I can't get this under control. I am taking probiotics and a lot of other supplements. I feel like I'm dying and I cry all the time. Did I mention the depression is horrible also? Guest guest
, thank you so much for your reply. I was so discouraged and it helped a lot to hear what you had to say. I have also found out that I am going through withdrawel symptoms from weaning off Tramadol. I have been taking it for a few years and did not realize the addictive nature of this drug! I took my last one yesterday so I still have a week or two of heck to go through but I will be very glad to have it out of my system. It's time for me to get away from my family practice Dr.'s and see someone who knows more about how the body functions instead of what prescription to prescribe next. I wish I could take this week off! I did have Monday off and the daycare kids didn't show up until 9:30 this morning so I slept on the couch from 7:30 to 9:30 so that was heaven!! I have a light load the rest of the week and can rest during nap time if I have to. Right now I am weak as a kitten, exhausted and have a horrible headache. I figure I could be going through both die off and withdrawel at the same time! This is so much fun! NOT!!! I am keeping positive though, because I know I will get better. Thanks PS Has anyone else out there had to quit using Tramadol/Ultram? Help! I have been sick for 12 years. I thought it was extreme allergies but finally made the connection to yeast 2 months ago. Guest guest
Hi Kim, I'm glad it helped a little. Thanks. Wow, a few years is a long time to be on that drug -- no wonder you feel awful. Die off plus withdrawal sounds horrible.  I hope you can find a good doctor and get some rest. Let us know how it goes! p.s. this forum helps me so much also, to share experiences and know we're not alone. ________________________________ From: " lundstromkim63@...
