Guest guest
Hi , You sure have a lot of problems and a great need of alternative health practices. There is no way you can get enough information to arm yourself with the knowledge of how to take back responsibility for your health from a discussion forum and emails. Like Jan said, the place for you to start is to read Dr. 's books. You may want to start with " The Cure for all Diseases " . This book describes her research and methods so that anyone can understand the basic concepts behind her protocols. Let us know what you find out, what particular protocols you decide to do, and what results you get. Then you can compare notes with and share experiences with others who also have an interest in Dr. 's reserch and methods. I wish you the best in your pursuit of better health. Be carefull. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Get a lot of it quickly and you'll be safe. Guest guest
Jan, I might have gone that route if I had realized that Dr. even had books. I'm also not asking for medical advice. I was asking for help on where to look for answers to my specific problems. Fortunately, someone has already pointed me in that direction. I just refuse to go out and spend my money on someone's books when I have no idea what they're about. I already have a very expensive book collection consisting of many " cure-all " books, but only continue to use 3 of those. The rest could go in the trash and I wouldn't miss them. I don't want to make that mistake again. Just a little friendly suggestion... I've received some pretty hateful e-mail in response basically telling me not to post until I've read Dr. 's books. If that's the case then someone should really put that in the description on e-groups. I came here for help and support and a few helpful people finally pointed me in the right direction, but not before I had to endure snippy e-mails from twice as many people. Re: Help! Dear , I don't think we can really dispense medical advice. The first step for the Dr. list would be to read Dr. 's books to get an understanding of her protocols. Most people on the Dr. list have done that. Dr. has done a great deal of research and has come to certain conclusions from her research. Please read her books and get an understanding of her protocol if you want to discuss it. Guest guest
Dear , I sincerely apologize if you feel that I have instigated hateful e-mails. That certainly was not my intent. But, reading Dr. 's books to find out about her theories is truly the best way to begin. Also, with things that have happened on the list, lately, it is better to err on the side of caution. One sidenote: parasites existing in greater quantities than the general public is aware of or that the conventional medical community wants to acknowledge, are a big part of Dr. 's theory. I, myself, was a sceptic about Dr. 's methods until I tried the parasite cleanse, and had absolutely unmistakable evidence that they existed, and in me. Dr. 's books explain her theories, backed by years of her research, as to why... Hope this helps, Jan Bolen __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thanks, Liz. What's a Don Crofts zapper? I've been using Dr. 's for 6 weeks. Peggy help!>> Does anyone have experience with the following situation? I've beendoing Dr. 's parasite cleanse for about 6 weeks. I've had prettyintense die-off reactions throughout this time. This has not been easy on my digestion, and I've had toeat probably a third less than normal, especially in the evening. Guest guest
Peggy, the pain that you described could be a beginning of a stomach ulcer or gastritis. After using the Don Crofts zapper I got such a gastritis attack that my tongue turned green. For 3 months I was nursing my stomach back to health. Perhaps you got your stomach upset because of all the changes your digestive system went under. I would suggest drinking some broth and later adding cooked rice or those very thin noodles. Make sure your broth has some chicken fat in it as well as salt. I don't know why but salt soothes my stomach problems. Pepto bismol is helpful here too. Try taking one remedy at a time and keep the ones that work. I must have lived off of chicken noodle soup for 3 months, I bought cases of it. Eating anything light is best. I began to tolerate scrambled eggs then I knew I was getting better. Use your common sense, if nothing helps in a short period of time, see your doctor. They only treat the symptoms anyway. Guest guest
Hi Peggy, My friend who was zapping only, no intestinal herbs experienced a pain similar to what you are describing. He almost went to the emergency room it was hurting so bad. I told him (kind of kidding) that it was probably a worm biting him as it was dying. Well a few days later, he did pass a rather large worm. So, maybe that is what is happening. ~Karmahttp://loaves-n-fishes.com My on-line health food store with over 200 manufacturers, and over 5,000 products!http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com Awareness Products, parasite and colon cleanses, Mediterranean botanicalshttp://www.andale.com/gallery?cid=6262336 & mid=1 & pId=2 Current auctions on e-bay -----Original Message-----From: Tim & /or Peggy Walters [mailto:tpwalters@...]Sent: Friday, April 06, 2001 5:39 PMbowel cleanse Subject: help! Guest guest
Dear Peggy My wife has been on a colon cleansing program for two years and she has had many of the symptoms that you describe. I would like to share something's that may be helpful. Oatmeal was/is very calming to her stomach. She has spent many days just eating oatmeal. Oatmeal gruel which is made by cooking oatmeal with lots of water and making it into a thick liquid starch. Add 1-2 oz of this gruel to your juices/tea or if you can stomach it take by the spoonful. I also recommend peppermint tea . This will reduce the stomach acids. In my wife's case, I believe her liver and gallbladder were extremely active because of the cleanse. Thus this caused large doses of bile to be released and created a very acidic situation. The peppermint tea and the oatmeal were lifesavers. Also massaging near the ring toe of the bottom of the foot, the reflex spot for the gallbladder was helpful. Then on the outside of both knees, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches down into the beginning of the calf muscle, there is a acupuncture point for the gallbladder that was also helpful. We rated my wife's pain on a 1 -10 scale. Often times she would be at a 7 to 8 pain level and then we would use a combination of the above treatments and reduce the pain within 15 to 20 minutes. I hope this is helpful. You're a true warrior, keep the faith. Ken I help! Does anyone have experience with the following situation? I've been doing Dr. 's parasite cleanse for about 6 weeks. Guest guest
ken - that's exactly what we do around here too... in the beginning, the oatmeal could only be a 'gruel'... a lot more pure water with it than oatmeal... then gradually a little more. we use chamomile with the peppermint tea - but otherwise, the same... wendy Re: help! Guest guest
I want to thank everyone for your observations, comments, and suggestions. I agree with both Karma and Ken--it may be a large worm reacting to my attempts to evict it and/or it may be the liver/gall bladder reacting to all the cleansing I've been doing. I did something yesterday which turned out to work, so I want to pass it on. After lunch I got that unpleasant bloated and painful sensation at the top of my stomach. I thought, oh no, I'm not going to be able to eat for the rest of the day. It was very frustrating. I went for a 30 minute walk doing diaphragmatic breathing, i.e. inhale for 4 steps and exhale for 8. I had been told this was good for the digestion. Then I came home and used a castor oil pack with a heating pad for an hour, putting it right over the painful area. Then I got into the shower and used hot and cold therapy on the area. That's running water as hot as you can stand it for a short time (I did 30 seconds) followed by water as cold as you can stand it for the same period of time, continuing to alternate this way for 7 rounds. By the end of this time, the pain was gone and my stomach was actually growling from hunger. I had a normal dinner and no more pain or bloating at all. The discomfort returned this a.m. after breakfast, so I'll have to do the whole routine all over again. I'm quite sure it's not an ulcer or anything like that. It has to be connected to the cleanse I've been on for so long, as I had to digestive problems prior to this. But I have no intention of letting the critters win. I'll be escalating the eviction as soon as I receive the ozonator I ordered last week--using ozonated olive oil is part of Dr. Hulda 's recommended approach for parasites, especially those that resist the parasite herbs. I'll try the oatmeal idea and get some peppermint tea as well. Thanks again. Peggy

Guest guest
Hi Peggy - whether I'm taking my wobenzym or other food enzymes - I never ever take them WITH food. I always try to take them before eating. I do take 2 kinds of enzymes. I also have fm/cfs/mps - and have found 'over all' and 8-10 years that there is nothing truly LASTING regarding relief from mps. with my mps massage therapist I get quick relief when he's working on me - and this will last 2-4 hours, but never stay completely gone. THe wobenzyme N is fascinating stuff in that it works naturally. There is something about it that causes the pain with the mps/fm to seem not near as strong when I take it consistently thorughout the day. I take it on an empty stomach first thing in the a.m. - around noon and again in the late afternoon. I take about 3 tablets each time. I get mine at www.immunesupport.com as I have found the cheapest prices there. Someone else here posted another site for it - but the prices were the same as my source - so I stuck with mine, since I already get other stuff there as well. come and visit my forum at delphi. If you have never used delphi, you will have to register at www.delphi.com first (its free) and then the forum is http://forums.delphi.com/HOPEISALIVE/start this forum is for FM/CFS/MPS but we talk alot about everything from candidiasis, bowel cleansing, leaky gut to Dr. Johanna Budwig's flax oil cures... wendy Re: help! Hi , Are you taking it just for pain, or did you start using it for the digestive benefits, with the pain relief being a side benefit? And how do you take it? My understanding is that if you take enzymes for digestion, you take them with food, but if you take them for other things you take them away from food so they're not sidetracked working on digestion. Is that correct? I have myofascial pain which persists in spite of a great deal of myofascial release work. (I'm talking over a year at two or three times a week.) I also have problems with my left knee and ankle. Does the wobenzym product actually heal these things? And how much do you need to take--lots of them every day, or only a few? Knowing this helps in figuring what the expense will be. Thanks. Peggy Re: help!>> I want to thank everyone for your observations, comments, andsuggestions. Guest guest
they say " nutritional defense for inflammation...the enzymes in wobenyzm break down certain harmful proteins that irritate joints, slow down recovery from injuries. Guest guest
well... that is why I do TWO types of enzymes. I have noticed that wobenzym relies a lot on Pancreatin (protease) as their main ingred... which does promote healing, and a non-inflammatory condition... but our other enzyme we also take has more ingredients in other areas like: Ox bile extract pepsin Betaine HCL Diastase Papain AMylase Amyloglucosidase lipase prozyme protease cellulase in a base of peppermint leaf powder. This one is made by Sunburst vitamins (out of N.Y) and is our favorite. wendy Re: help! Liz, I'd been taking the tablet enzymes you found in your toilet. I agree--I think they're probably worthless. I've been doing some reading on Wobenzym--it sounds really good, not only for digestion but also for pain and other problems. I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has any experience with this product. It's at www.mistergreengenes.com/wobenzym2.html . Apple juice hasn't helped. Does Donna have a website? Thanks. Guest guest
Guest guest
Hi , have you noticed a lot of help with digestion, I am taking a well rounded enzyme capsule, I like it a lot, but have read about Wobenzym and wonder if it would be even better? Peggy, since this happens after you eat, it could mean you need digestive enzymes. Have you looked into that as the cause of the problems? I am taking enzymes and even then I may get a little bloated feeling in my stomach. Maybe I am not taking them right. However I do feel I may have candida overgrowth there. But here is something I found that worked a couple of times when the enzymes didn't seem to do their job. After eating our liver is to do its job. And when I took a liver cleanse applejuice was recommended to keep the liver fully functioning. So I drank about 1/2 of cup of apple juice when I got that feeling and it went away. I hope I wasn't feeding the candida but I believe I would have felt worse afterwards. Donna happens to sell a good brand of enzymes if you want to buy online. What I like about hers is it is in a loose capsule and easy for the stomach to begin working. I first bought tablets from the healtfood store and a few days later found it completely UNDIGESTED in the toilet. Don't give up.
