Guest guest Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 I finally made the mystery squash that had been sitting atop my frig, and it is hands down the most delicious squash I have ever tasted! Made it just like an acorn squash, cut in half and put it face down on cookie sheet/pan in 425 degree oven. When done it has the most velvety creamy consistency and is sweet. So, I went to web and researched and found out it was a Kabocha squash, aka Japanese Pumpkin.
