Canceling Fundraiser in March

Hi everyone. Thought I would give you a quick update. I have

decided to cancel the fundraiser in Chicago I was planning to host

in March. It is with great dissapointment that I have made this

decision - not only does it in my opinion " tarnish " my credibility,

but it is unfortunate that I will not be able to assist in raising

funds as expected to a foundation that greatly deserves recognition

of their fabulous efforts at helping all of us.

Ian will greatly require my FULL attention this month, and it did

not seem feasible to consider putting together a " full-time " event

when I would not be able to devote the required time necessary to

make it a success. We have had TOO much going on with Ian's health

since October and I know that January will be just as strenuous.

Just thought you should know and ask that if you were planning on

assisting in this endeavor - I won't need your help until next year!

LOL (As I mentioned in an e-mail to my mom - I won't be putting her

to work - of which I'm sure she will be very thankful considering

she is coming to help me for Ian's surgery <grin>).
