Guest guest
Anyone ever tried making baked goods with macadamia nuts as the base? We can't do almond, pecan, etc. Thanks! Dawn
Guest guest
I've made brownies with macadamia nut butter. The nuts are very oily, and turn to butter easily. This is my least favorite brownie in my 4 day nut rotation (almonds, peanuts, pecans, macadamia). I haven't yet figured out how to make it tastier (for my taste buds, that is). Guest guest
Amelia, that could work! It's funny how different all the nuts are. Peanut butter brownies need extra oil, or else the batter is super stiff and the brownies are too dry.
